A well-deserved pause from time

L'Aquila, IT

Magione Papale is a place of great charm where one can truly breathe, an exceptional accommodation offering a well-deserved pause from the passage of time. Twils and the Distretto19 studio collaborated on the design and supply of the furnishings for the reception area of the Hotel & Wellness section. The choice of elements, along with their colors and fabrics, was deliberately aimed at creating a concept that conveys feelings of comfort and tranquility to guests—two concepts closely linked to the values that have guided Twils’ production since its founding.

The reception spaces were designed by Distretto19 as areas to be experienced slowly, preparing guests for a state of well-being. Naturally, Twils furnishings were chosen to make the space a place where one feels at ease, whether in a contract setting or the living room at home.

Natural materials and restrained design enhance the enveloping seating comfort of the Better living collection. The Kamari Island sofa by Paolo Grasselli offers a flexible and poetic interpretation of the living space, while Briò elegantly evokes the Italian living room culture of the 1960s and 1970s. The Milos armchairs provide comfort grounded in simple geometries and harmonious proportions, accompanied by the soft, playful touch of Brioche, designed by Beatriz Sempere and clearly inspired by the sweetness symbolized by pastries.
The Otto tables by Matteo Ragni and Simplit by Tinti & Bottino structure the space with practical function expressed through careful aesthetic design. The same applies to the Tetris modular system by Cairoli & Donzelli: one unit, three available sizes, endless combinations. The Magione Papale project tells a story of deeply Italian hospitality, where Twils design guides guests toward an experience of relaxation and well-being.
