13 December was an important date for Twils. The company from Treviso, founded in 2007 and specialised in upholstered beds, accessories and bed linen, inaugurated its first store in Italy, in Florence.
The showroom, located in via Ponte alle Mosse 201, has been created in conjunction with furniture specialists Lama from Tuscany and is spread over 500 square metres.
Inside, products from the Twils bed collection - including models Carnaby, Max Capitonné, Natural, SP2802, Academy Piuma and U-Bed - are displayed, while the Twils Lounge collection, dedicated to living space, features sofas Graffiti, Luigi XIV, Revival, Free and Mantra.
Twils & Twils Lounge
The superior tailoring and manufacturing quality of its products, one of the cornerstones of the company’s success, comes from its previous experience as a manufacturer of coordinating household linens. Its evolution into a successful lifestyle brand was facilitated by the creation of a fabric selection of unparalleled variety and creativity, the quality of its workmanship and attention to detail and its wide assortment of bed linen and glamorous accessories.
The company works closely with the design world, selecting proposals from several design studies with a reputation for experience and creativity. Its designers are asked to focus on the relationship between the product and the fabric, because the harmony between shape and upholstery is one of the factors which makes Twils beds so exclusive and attractive.
Many of its more successful models are designed by the company’s in-house Research and Design Department, whose sophisticated customised style captures and interprets contemporary trends.
Thanks to their comfort, softness and the infinite variety of patterns and colours which can be used to personalise the style and define the design, upholstered beds are the solution of choice in the bedroom. And, with the new Twils Lounge sofa, armchair and accessory collections, the company has extended its product range and values to the living space.
“Twils owes its popularity to its ability to merge many different aspects, a characteristic of many success stories in Italy, such as a solid family tradition and the capacity to anticipate new style trends. The partnership with Lama Design is an example of working in synergy on a construction project, another key ingredient to its success.
