Dell is inspired by the sinuous and soothing shapes of rolling landscapes, soft curves that guide the gaze across the horizon—hence the name, meaning ‘valley’.
The sculptural and monolithic appearance of the two volumes creates an interesting contrast with the soft lines and enveloping forms that intersect to shape a compact yet welcoming seat. The result is a single, fluid volume where the backrest and armrests merge, inviting relaxation both in the bedroom and in the living area.
